Chocolate Samosa

chocsamosa1

1 egg yolk

12 wonton wrappers

125 gr milk chocolate, finely chopped

70 gr toasted hazelnuts, roughly chopped

1-2 bananas, sliced

2 cups vegetable oil

Icing, to serve

or

Thick double cream, to serve

Whisk the egg yolk with 2 tbl spoon water in a small bowl. Lay the wonton wrapper on a dry, clean surface and put some chocolate, hazelnuts and banana slices in the centre of each one. Brush the edges oh the wonton wrappers with a little the egg wash and twist the edges together.

Heat the oil in a deep-based frying pan or saucepan until it is beginning to simmer. Put the wontons into hot oil, a few at a time, and cook until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towel. Repeat until all the wontons are cooked. sprinkle with icing sugar and serve hot with cream ( if you like )
